As we know the recession has caused thousands of professionals and other high-earners, those who enjoyed a particular job-certainty, to become unemployed. The nature of the roles was such that many have not had to look for work in years or decades, in some cases not at all. In response to this situation CTC and Fusionpeople have teamed up to provide a specialised consultation, free of charge for anyone across the London area who falls into this category.
 

Cheaper Tops and Medicals

CTC are now offering a very competitive rate on both the medical and topographical aspects of the application process for the Public Carriage Office License. For only £125 candidates can get both of these vital parts, as well as help with the entire form, there may also be further financial help for those claiming government benefits.
 

New Lodgers

The Adult Training Network (ATN) has taken residence with us at Uxbridge Road and they are currently offering 2 workshops to help people into employment; Launchpad, for lone parents, and Jobsearch Support. Launchpad is group based and provides help with confidence and motivation building, practising interviews and form filling, along with a host of other helpful skills and techniques. The Jobsearch Support offers similar kinds of help but is for any one, tailored to their personal needs, arranged on an appointments basis and done in a one on one format.
 

SIA Qualification

We have partnered up with Uxbridge College to facilitate the delivery of a Security Industry Association (SIA) qualification; the classes run all week and have brought vibrancy to an already purposeful atmosphere at Uxbridge House.
 

Free IT Courses

As a Social Enterprise we feel proud to offer the benefit of access to using computers and the internet to those who have little or no understanding or experience of using these vital tools. We feel I.T. skills are essential in today's modern society for maintaining a communications link, maximising employment prospects and having fun. Therefore as a good will gesture we are providing a free concise course to Microsoft Word, Computer File Management, Browsing and Searching the Internet, and Creating & Using Online Email Accounts, such as Hotmail, Yahoo & Googlemail.
